A hospitality desk was set up at the reception of the Hotel Puerta de América, constantly manned by bilingual hostesses and F2F staff. Welcome pack and the accreditations of those attending were given out there. they were attended to at all times by a team of 8 hostesses, whether at the hospitality desk, during the course of the cocktail party, the holding of the exhibition and the leisure activities. The scheduled leisure programmes were as follows: · Guided visit to the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium · Guided visit to the Reina Sofía Art Centre · Guided visit to the Prado Museum · Guided tourist route through the city. on the other hand, the "Helios Quiz" was held so all of those attending could get interested in the different projects. this consisted of making a questionnaire with one question about each project and an exhibition area with information about them. there were prizes drawn for those who answered at least 15 of the 47 questions correctly. The session ended with a gala dinner, a show from the Spanish dance company Carmen Cantero and a closing party with a DJ at the Reina Sofia Art Centre.
Design and arrange a recognition event, in Madrid capital city, for those teams from the European region of the BP Group, whose projects have gone beyond the regional phase of evaluation, prior to the final of the Helios 200 Prizes: hospitality, atmosphere-creation, shows, organisation, etc.
Hold a recognition event at which the guests become the real stars, they feel recognised and guests of honour, and at which they can imbibe the values of the BP brand, also in the aesthetic sense. The event has to promote knowledge management, facilitating the interaction between those selected and the guests, so as to share experiences.
The total number of projects presented was 47, related to the categories set by BP. 145 people went to the hospitality desk. They went to eight scheduled programmes: · E. Santiago Bernabeu: 30 people · Reina Sofía: 6 people · Prado Museum: 16 people · City tour: 53 people A total of 160 diners went to the gala dinner, show and closing party.
